Harbor Renovation
Work began Thursday, Oct. 9th,
after finally receiving the permits from the DNR and Cass County.
During the week prior to that, the
boathouse was moved, docks removed from harbor, trees were cut, the beach area was cleared, and
the lodge deck was removed.
Tuesday, Oct. 13th - almost ready to begin setting the posts for the North
wall to the right of the opening. Minimal space to work in and lots of
dirt to move makes progress slow but steady.
Thursday, Oct. 16th - setting posts for the East wall.

The entrance is prepared with a silt fence before blocking it off.
Then the water can be pumped out of the harbor.
